Born in North Carolina, Nancy H. Williard, returned in 2014 after twenty years in California’s Eastern Sierra mountains near Yosemite. A librarian, educator, editor, and writer, her pieces can be found in the North Carolina Literary Review, The Avalon Literary Review, and Potato Soup Journal. (See Publications). She received her MFA from Queens University of Charlotte in May 2020. In 2021, her story "Wherever You Go" won Honorable Mention in the Doris Betts Fiction Prize.
